Spotluck Takes Center Stage at Adams Morgan Day

As a hyperlocal app, Spotluck was excited to help bring the Adams Morgan Day festivities back to the neighborhood this year. Adams Morgan Day has been a D.C. area staple for almost four decades, but after last year’s logistical disputes, it seemed the festival would be postponed for a year. A grass-roots community initiative then banded together to bring back the “East Coast’s Biggest Block Party.”

Along with Songbyrd Music Hall, Spotluck sponsored the Spotluck Stage, bringing a variety of local music acts to the festival. Visitors enjoyed gorgeous weather, delicious food, cultural demonstrations, an eclectic list of vendors, and plenty of specials at local restaurants up and down the block.

Spotluck's big weekend didn't just include Adams Morgan Day though. We were out and about at the 17th Street Arts Festival in Dupont Circle as well as Columbia Heights Day. If you missed them, check out some great pictures of Spotluck's adventures around the city this weekend HERE.
