Watch Local: Support Your Neighborhood While Supporting Your Team

Each Fall Sunday, legions of football fans cheer on their team and city from sports bars across the nation. Even though their "home" team may be a thousand miles away, these fans embody a true sense of local pride.

This season, we're asking you to spend your Sundays supporting another local institution. Rustle up that old jersey that may or may not have been washed since the division championship six years ago and head to a local watering hole.

Plus, win some sweet team swag. Simply mention your team in your restaurant review for a chance to win!

Welcome Spotluck Harrisonburg and Blacksburg!

We've spun south to Harrisonburg & Blacksburg. Both 'burgs have bustling downtowns full of local eateries itching to be spun. You can now spin for local Spots up and down I-81!

We're excited to introduce the tasty downtown restaurants to JMU and Virginia Tech students, families, and visitors too! Fun fact: neither JMU's Duke Dog nor Virginia Tech's Hokie Bird originally had any association with those animals. The Duke Dog originated from early college president, Dr. Samuel Page Duke, while the Hokie Bird originated from the Old Hokie spirit yell coined in 1896.
